The Lost Boys is an American film directed by Joel Schumacher and released in 1987.

The film was a critical and commercial success and achieved cult status. It spawned a franchise including two sequels in the 2010s (The Lost Boys 2 and The Lost Boys 3: The Origin of Evil) and comics.
